The last twenty years have seen tremendous changes
in the life of the people in Nepal. Nepal has undergone through major political
upheavels. Democracy is yet to be established in a real sense of the term, however,
during this peroid, many civil society organizations have grown dramatically.
Many international institutions have come to Nepal to assist its efforts in bringing
about prosperity, improving human rights conditions and consolidation of democracy.
Friedrich
Ebert Foundation of Germany is one of the international non-governmental
organizations in Nepal. It is proud to be part of the Nepalese development process.
